About the movie
After the release of The Evil Dead (1981), a definite milestone in low-budget horror cinema, inventive U.S. filmmaker Sam Raimi rolled up his sleeves to create a sequel. Focusing on the production of Evil Dead II (1987), 'Swallowed Souls' offers an entertaining insight into the making of the movie that broke the boundaries of the horror genre. Aiming to please new fans and Evil Dead aficionados alike, 'Swallowed Souls' features in-depth interviews, leaving no stone unturned to cover the production steps in various chapters.—Nick Riganas
